Now place the coated banana slices on the tray of the dehydrator. Make sure they are not touching each other.

Then put the tray on the dehydrator and place the lid on. Turn the temperature of the dehydrator to 135 and the time for 8 hours.

When the time is about halfway done, turn all the banana slices over.

When done, the banana chips for dogs should be nice and hard. If they have a slightly chewy/bindy texture to them, it is ok.

However, they should not be soft or still feel wet. If they do, chances are they may have been cut too thick and need a little more time in the dehydrator.

When storing these, if you want them to stay nice and crunchy, store a silica gel pack in the container with them. It helps to keep the moister away from the chips and that helps keep them crunchy.
