These Easter dog cookies are made with rice flour making them gluten free. You can use any Easter-themed cookie cutter you have.

The cookies can be served plain or decorated with yogurt chips or candy melts.

Easter Egg Dog Treat Ingredients

The dry coconut milk is optional. It helps make the rice flour form a dough better. Always use plain chicken stock or bone broth because dogs are sensitive to onions, and certain herbs and spices.

  • White Rice Flour
  • Dry Coconut Milk (optional)
  • Unsweetened Applesauce
  • Plain Chicken Stock or Bone Broth
  • Coconut oil
  • A Large Egg
  • Yogurt Chips/Candy Melts for Decorating

How to Make Easter Egg Dog Treats

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl, mix together the rice flour and dry coconut milk.

Next, mix the applesauce, chicken stock, coconut oil, and egg in a bowl. Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Combine together using a spatula, and then use your hands to finish making it into a cookie dough. If you find the dough is too wet, add a little more flour at a time until it is the same as cookie dough. If it is too dry, slowly add some water until the dough is workable.

Roll the dough out to 1/6 inch. Place your Easter cookie cutters on the dough and cut out your Easter dog cookies. Place the cookies on a baking sheet with parchment paper. Bake for 10–15 minutes. 

If you want the dog treats crunchy like store bought ones, turn you oven off and leave them in for another hour.

Decorating the Easter Dog Treats

You can use edible baking pens to decorate the dog Easter cookies, or you can use yogurt chips or candy melts.
