Cheddar Carrot Dog Treat Ingredients

  • Whole Wheat Flour
  • Baking Powder
  • Plain Greek Yogurt (Unsweetened)
  • Finely Chopped Carrot
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Oatmeal (Old-fashioned)
  • A Large Egg
  • Plain Chicken Broth

How to Make Carrot Cheddar Dog Treats

  1. Preheat the oven to 325° F.
  2. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the flour and baking powder.
  4. Mix the yogurt, carrots, cheddar cheese, and oatmeal in another bowl. Add to the flour mixture and mix to combine.
  5. Next, add the egg and the broth and combine.
  6. Take 1 teaspoonful of the dough, roll it into balls, and place it on the baking sheet.
  7. Using a fork, flatten each ball.
  8. Bake for 12 minutes or until the treats are lightly browned and soft on the inside.
  9. Place the treats on a cooling rack to fully cool.

Store these treats in an airtight container in your refrigerator for up to 5 days or in your freezer for up to 3 months.
